Erin Sedor is a risk and strategy expert supporting clients in a variety of industries in the for-profit, non-profit, and government sectors. She is the architect of the Essential Strategy approach and is the developer and principle instructor for the Essential Strategy Bootcamp. Erin has long been a thought leader in the area of integrated strategy, risk, and resilience systems, having more than 26 years of experience as a risk professional, C-suite officer, non-profit board chair, and now executive consultant and advisor.
Fueled by the need to create hybrid programs to better identify and mitigate strategic risk and improve goal execution during her corporate career, Erin developed a uniquely effective Essential Strategy approach that lays the foundation for more meaningful strategy design and execution, creating greater risk visibility and improving operational efficiency without reinventing the process.
Erin holds an MBA in Operational Risk, as well as bachelor’s degrees in both Finance and Organizational Development. She is a RIMS Fellow and international instructor for the RIMS organization and regularly writes and presents at conferences on the topics of strategy, risk, and resilience.
Jen Jarvis Associates
Jen is a driven facilitator with the unique ability to unify diverse groups of people and create high functioning teams. Her talent for identifying and understanding challenges that organizations face when implementing strategy in the workplace improves meaningful employee engagement. This leads to a higher level of production, employee retention, and strategy execution.
She does this by teaching organizations to “Be at Cause.” Staff and organizations often feel in the world of cause vs. effect they are victims of the latter. Shifting the paradigm in organizations empowers leaders and their direct reports to seek opportunities to move their work forward. One client stated, “I was looking to stop the infighting amongst team leaders in our organization, by the time we were finished the fighting had stopped and they actually became united in driving a project forward.” Jen has supported the complexities of engaging/aligning staff in the execution of strategy in government, healthcare, tribal, for-profit, and nonprofit.
Jen hails from Michigan where she graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Math Education. Her current work is a continuation of her teaching and leaves organizations with sustainable competencies. She has teamed with Black Fox Strategy for the Essential Strategy Bootcamp to present best practices for goal execution and plan implementation.

Christian works with successful leaders to help them rapidly grow the value and impact of their organizations. His interest in leadership took shape while working in international disaster relief in places like Kosovo, Southern Sudan, and Indonesia. Regardless of how well or poorly a project was funded or designed, success was ultimately determined by the quality of leadership and dynamics of the team.
As a leadership coach and strategy consultant, Christian is recognized for how quickly he helps clients move towards their goals. Clients who work with Christian note his frank, objective approach to solving problems and addressing opportunities. He has become renowned for helping his clients successfully grow or navigate change with practical and easy to implement strategies.

Christian is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor. He is an Advanced Stakeholder Centered Coach and has taught leadership, mediation, and negotiation skills in numerous countries. He has an MA in Organizational Leadership and a BA in Sociology.
Jonathon Taylor was born and raised in Anchorage and works currently as an Account Manager for Yuit Communications, a full-service PR and marketing firm.
Jonathan is a proud University of Alaska Anchorage graduate! During his time at UAA, he served terms as Club Council Chair, Speaker of the USUAA Assembly, and Student Body President while working full-time. He also traveled nationally and internationally as a member of the world-class Seawolf Debate Team, concluding the 2015 calendar year with his debate partner ranked #33 in the world.
Jonathon worked in Alaska's tourism industry before spending two-and-a-half years as Deputy Press Secretary and Communications Strategist for Alaska Governor Bill Walker and Communications Director for the Alaska Department of Public Safety. He joined Yuit in the spring of 2019 and manages a diverse array of client accounts.
Jonathan holds a B.A. in Political Science with Minors in Journalism, Communication, and Economics.

Pastor Daniel Bracken

Mix that with 20+ years in the ministry and a fervent pursuit to cross boundaries for the sake of his beliefs and personal convictions, as well as his deep love for people, and you'll know why Daniel along with his wife Karen pastor one of the fastest growing churches in Wasilla, Alaska. Pastor Daniel is part of a branch of the world-renowned, mega-church planting organization King’s Cathedral and Chapels of Maui, HI. He has been on staff since 1998.
During his years of ministry, Daniel has pastored several churches on the islands of Maui, Molokai, and Kauai. For the past 12 years, he has pastored at King’s Chapel in Wasilla, Alaska and oversees three other churches located in Eagle River, King Salmon as well as the Primrose Retirement Community in Wasilla. Pastor Bracken also serves as Associate Pastor of King’s Cathedral World-Wide (KCWW), a network of 230 churches located across the globe, providing leadership and vision to this ever-growing movement.
Pastor Bracken is a highly respected and a sought-after keynote speaker for conferences around the country. He is an authentic and dynamic communicator, bringing encouragement and hope through timeless truth and humor. With a Master’s Certificate in Online Marketing and Social Media from the University of San Francisco, Jenn was the first Alaskan to be Inbound Marketing Certified and was elected Marketer of the Year by the Alaska Chapter of the American Marketing Association in 2016. He has more than two decades of media and public policy communications experience.
He has worked in academia as a journalism professor, media as a television reporter and news director as well as in politics as an aide to two Alaska governors. This experience gives him a unique understanding of what messaging and marketing works and what doesn’t from the Beltway to Barrow.
Charles enjoys reading as well as cooking, fishing and hiking with his family. He lives in Anchorage with his wife Shannon and their three children. He has a bachelor’s degree from Temple University in Philadelphia and a master’s degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Computer science in 1997, Mike started his professional career at the state’s largest ISP, Internet Alaska, where he developed cutting-edge investigative techniques for ISPs and law enforcement that pushed the limits of technology while remaining within the confines of established case-law and legal constraints. During his time at Internet Alaska, Mike assisted law enforcement and private entities with online investigations of all types ranging from stalking and white-collar crimes to drug trafficking and murder.
In 1999, Mike moved to ConocoPhillips where he served as a Global Vulnerability Management Specialist. In this role, Mike was part of a 7-person global team that developed policies & cyber-security awareness campaigns, provided risk management consultation, and performed vulnerability assessments and computer-intrusion incident response in a multi-national environment having over 5,000 servers, 38,000 desktops, and 50,000 employees.
For almost 15 years, Deep Forest Security has been providing cyber-incident response, information security risk management, and digital forensics for select clients requiring high levels of information assurance. More recently, we started offering managed security monitoring and threat hunting solutions that dramatically reduce risk of unauthorized activity and intrusion. Deep Forest Security is also involved in the cyber counter-intelligence community as part of efforts to protect national critical infrastructure and multinational, US-based businesses against advanced cyber-threats.
